H. E. Connor

Botany Division, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Christchurch

Abstract Flowering seasons in C. rigida occur most commonly at three-year intervals, and for the period 1948/49 to 1965/66 are coincident with those in species of Nothofat>us. The relationship between flowering and burning, tillering, and autumn initiation of inflorescences is discussed.
