Abstract Collections of Bactridium from New Zealand are assigned to B. clavatum Berk, and Br. (syn. B. magnum Cooke, syn. Arthrosporium chrysocephalum Penz. and Sacc.) and to Bactridium novae-zelandiae n. sp. These and B. fulvellum Berk. (syn. B. bonaerense Speg.) are illustrated and described.
