THE BOLETACEAE OF NEW ZEALAND

Abstract Twenty-two species of Boletaceae are described and illustrated: Boletus leptospermi sp. nov., B. novae-zelandiae sp. nov., B. rawlingsii sp. nov., Gyroporus castaneus (Bull, ex Fr.) Quel., Leccinum scabrum (Bull, ex Fr.) S. F. Gray, Phaeogyroporus portentosus (Berk. & Br.) comb, nov., Suillus brevipes (Peck) O. Kuntze, S. granulatus (L ex Fr.) O. Kuntze, S. grevillei (Klotzsch) Singer, .S'. lakei (Murr.) A. H. Smith & Thiers, S. luteus (L ex Fr.) S. F. Gray, S. piperatus (Bull, ex Fr.) O. Kuntze, S. subacerbus sp. nov., Tylopilus formosus G. Stevens., Xerocomus aurantiacus sp. nov., X. chrysenteron (Bull, ex St Amans) Quel., X. griseo-olivaceus sp. nov., X. lentistipitatus (G. Stevens.) comb, nov., X. mcrobbii sp. nov., X. nothofagi sp. nov., X. rufo-stipitatus sp. nov., and X. squamulosus sp. nov. Keys to genera and species are given, and Species Excludendae and Nomina Nuda discussed.
