Asplenium lucidum Forst. f., an illegitimate name for the New Zealand shining spleenwort

Abstract The name Asplenium lucidum Forst. f. is illegitimate because of an earlier homonym, A. lucidumN. L. Burman, and must be rejected in favour of the earliest acceptable binomial, A. oblongifolium Colenso.
