Self-incompatibility in Cordyllne pumilio (Agavaceae)

Abstract Controlled pollinations between 2 plants of
Cordyline pumilio Hook. f. showed that each sets no or few seed when selfed but abundant seed when crossed by the other. This result, supported by additional crossing evidence and field observations, indicates that the species is self-incompatible.
