DONALD S. HORNING Jr

Abstract The fern Histiopteris incisa (Thunb.) J. Smith is newly recorded from The Snares, a group of islands off the southern coast of New Zealand. Its location is described and its presence is interpreted with reference to its distribution in New Zealand and its southern islands as an instance of recent colonisation of a disturbed area.
