Chromosome numbers of three South American species of Gunnera (Gunneraceae)

AbstractGunnera magellanica, G. manicata, and G. tinctoria (= G. chilensis) each have a chromosome number of 2n = 34. The generalised idi-ogram is similar to that of the New Zealand species of Gunnera.
