Beilschmiedia Nees (Lauraceae) in New Zealand

Abstract The genus Beilschmiedia is revised for New Zealand. Three endemic species are recog- nised: B. tarairi, B. tawa, and B. tawaroa sp. nov; their typification, synonomy, morphology, distri- bution, phenology, and ecology are discussed, and illustrations and a key to the species presented.
