Abstract Comments are made on the distri- bution and habitat of 17 rare or locally uncommon indigenous taxa. Considerable northward exten- sions of published geographic ranges are made for Dracophyllum adamsii, Fuchsia perscandens, Hoh- eria angustifolia, and Thelymitra formosa. The probable relictual status of some taxa having their northernmost distribution in the Kaimai Range is also discussed and mention is made of some Cryp- togamic plants coterminal with the above Tracheophytes.
