Abstract A new species, Dracophyllum mackeeanum, is described and illustrated. D. mackeeanum is similar to D. ramosum, but differs in growth habit and leaf, inflorescence, and flower characters. The new species has a restricted distribution, so far only known from the upper Tontouta, Thio, and Dumbèa valleys in New Caledonia. A key to the New Caledonian species of Dracophyllum is provided.
