Abstract `Red Rascal' is an attractive, oval-shaped, bright
red-skinned potato (
Solanum tuberosum L
.) cultivar with white
flesh. It is mid-late season maturing and is suitable for prepack/fresh market
sales. This cultivar has shown high resistance to powdery scab (
Spongospora
subterranea) and late blight (
Phytophthora infestans).
