Abstract Angiosperm reproductive structure macrofossils have been discovered in Late Cretaceous rocks from northwest Nelson, South Island, New Zealand. We have collected over 100 specimens of the same form, of striking stellate appearance, from a locality of late Campanian or Maastrichtian age. These are the first such fossils of Cretaceous age reported from New Zealand.
