Biogeochemistry
conference special issue
Participants in the workshop are encouraged to submit manuscripts representing general research and review articles as well as short communications, to be published in the leading journal Biogeochemistry (impact factor 2.5). Submissions describing aspects of policy relevant to the management of the carbon cycle are strongly encouraged. Submissions fitting the "synthesis and emerging ideas" section of the journal are also encouraged. Our proposed deadlines for the special issue are a closing date of 31 July 2008 for submissions with a target publication date of 1 February 2009. We aim for a 200 page issue that can be distributed to conference participants .
To ensure that the details of the special issue can be finalized at the workshop, the co-editors of the special issue, Troy Baisden and Martin Manning, request that participants interested in submitting manuscripts contact them with expressions of interest. Please include:
•approximate topic or title
•category of submission (general, review, short communication, policy/synthesis and emerging ideas.)
•suitability of the proposed closing date and target publication date.
