Beginning Scientists
March 1999 allocation

The Royal Society of New Zealand has recently allocated funding to enable 19 students enrolled for PhD degrees at New Zealand universities to attend their first international scientific or technological conference overseas. Forty-four applications were received. The successful applicants are:
