East Asia Pacific Summer Institutes Program (EAPSI)
The EAPSI program provides
U.S.
graduate students in science and engineering first-hand research
experience to conduct research in New Zealand laboratories and to
initiate personal relationships with their New Zealand counterparts.
The program also introduces the students to New Zealand science policy
infrastructure and provides an orientation to New Zealand culture.
The
program is funded by the
Ministry
of Research, Science and
Technology (MoRST) and the
National
Science Foundation (NSF).
Participants in the program represent a wide variety of research areas,
and will be hosted by various institutions including universities,
crown research institutes, museums, and other research institutions
across the New Zealand.
