The ancient and mysterious circle of massive stones known as Stonehenge in England inspired a full-scale working adaptation right here in Aotearoa, allowing all New Zealanders to experience some of the wonder of Stonehenge for themselves.

Situated near Carterton, in the Wairarapa, Stonehenge Aotearoa allows us to explore and experience how the people of ancient times used the sky to obtain detailed information on the seasons, on time and for navigation.
