Human activities are causing the Earth’s climate to change and there are many potential consequences of this.

This GAMMA explains the science of climate change and provides outlines of some of the potential consequences of human-induced climate change.

It addresses how humans are involved in climate change; the greenhouse effect; the evidence that greenhouse gases are increasing; and looks at the changing climate and what is expected to happen in the future, including sea level rise, snow and ice melting, increased precipitation, but also water shortages, increased threats to human health; changes to ecosystems and changing crop harvests.
