Selection Criteria

Conferences will be selected for sponsorship according to the organisation and conference eligibility criteria above, and the degree to which the conference/wānanga reflects the focus on effective teaching. 

Consideration will also be given to a balance across sectors, key Ministry of Education programme areas, events with a focus on education of Māori or Pasifika students, and the provision of support for new policy initiatives.
