Award Ceremony
The Award Ceremony was held at Te Marae, Te Papa on Friday 11 December at 4.30 pm. A cultural group from Viard College performed an excellent selection of waiata before the ceremony began. The ceremony was well attended by invited guests and the general public. The MC was Chris Dykzvel (TV celebrity) accompanied by Barbara Benson. Sponsors were able to present their particular awards to winners. The award ceremony was covered by both TV1 and TV3 and appeared on national news later on that evening. After the conclusion of the ceremony guests were escorted down to the concourse area to meet with the students and view the exhibits. Light refreshments and nibbles were served.
