Criteria for Applicants

• You must have NZ citizenship or NZ permanent residency
• All accommodation, food and activity costs are covered by the USA SPACE Camp.
• International travel from and back to New Zealand will need to be covered by you.  (assistance may be provided for a portion of the travel expenses by applying to the Talented School Students Travel Award)
• You must be a Yr12 or Yr13 student
• You should have a good understanding of written and spoken English
• You should be studying at least two sciences and have a particular interest in astronomy
• It would be an advantage if you belonged to an astronomy club or association
• You should have very good and written communication skills
