A nationwide DVD competition for Year 11 to 13 students sponsored by Freemasons New Zealand in association with the Royal Society of New Zealand.

2008 Competition Theme: Darwin and the theory of evolution

Win a fantastic two week trip to the UK and follow in Darwin’s footsteps!

From 1 July 2008 through 2009, the Royal Society of New Zealand will be celebrating the 150th anniversary of Darwin's great work On the Origin of Species and the bicentenary of his birth.  We are therefore theming the 2008 Freemasons BIG Science Adventures around Charles Darwin and the Theory of Evolution. 

Major prizes in 2008 include:
A two-week trip to the UK in the July 2008 school holidays for one team
and an exciting, adventure-packed trip to a remote offshore location in December.

Entries are now being accepted for 2008.
Closing Date:  5pm on Friday 9 May 2008
