Sponsor our aims and activities 

Now you can help to further the aims, ideals and activities of the Royal Society by becoming a sponsor. Four annual categories of sponsorship are available:

• Platinum sponsor $250,000 or more
• Gold sponsor $100,000 or more
• Silver sponsor $25,000 or more
• Bronze sponsor $10,000 or more

All sponsors will receive acknowledgment in the Royal Society's Annual Report and in its web pages (our current sponsors). In addition, you will receive an invitation to the Royal Society's prestigious Annual Honours Dinner, where the country's outstanding scientists and technologists are recognised.

By agreement, sponsorship funds may be donated (Council has resolved that donations over $25,000 to the Royal Society Foundation, and donations over $100,000 to support a specific programme, must be approved by the Council) to support a particular programme operated by the Royal Society, or donations may be made to the Royal Society Foundation. Interest earned by the Royal Society Foundation fund will be used by the Society to provide support for new or ongoing programmes. By resolution from the Council of the Royal Society, portions of the fund may also be used to undertake specific initiatives from time to time.

If funds are donated to support a particular programme, the Royal Society and the donor may agree to enter into a contract to ensure delivery of the programme.
