The Royal Society of New Zealand offers three separate rooms for hire, catering for meetings from 2 to 100 people. These rooms are ideal for training purposes, for those who need group meetings of different sizes under the same roof.

The Society provides rooms and equipment for hire as well as use of facilities. Flexibility is the key, with room bookers being able to arrange catering and other services independent of the Society, to meet their own requirements

The rooms are located in Thorndon, just minutes from the city centre.

Sessions

Rooms are hired in sessions:

• Morning: 8.01 am-12.00 pm
• Afternoon: 12.01 pm-5.00 pm
• Evening: 5.01 pm-10.00 pm

The above rates are for hire of equipment for up to one day (unless otherwise specified).

There is no wheelchair access - all rooms are upstairs and there is no lift.

Catering

You and your caterers are welcome to use the adjoining kitchen facilities equipped with stove, zip, fridge, dishwasher and cups and saucers. Use of the kitchen is shared by all room hirers.
