Anthicidae (Insecta: Coleoptera) from New Guinea in the Hornabrook

Fifteen species of anthicid beetles, including five new species, were found in
the Hornabrook Collection from New Guinea. The species new to science, here
described and illustrated, are:
Tomoderus hornabrooki new species,
Formicomus longidentatus new species,
Pseudoleptaleus nitens new
species,
Stricticomus niger new species, and
Sapintus madangensis
new species. Other recorded species are:
Anthicomorphus dohertyi Pic,
1910;
Anthicomorphus subelongatus Pic, 1910;
Macratria
neoguineensis Pic, 1901a;
Omonadus floralis (Linnaeus, 1758);
Pseudoleptaleus horvathi Pic, 1902;
Sapintus dilensis (Pic,
1901b);
Sapintus gracilicornis (Pic, 1895);
Tomoderus biroi Pic,
1902;
Tomoderus novaeguineae Heberdey, 1936; and
Tomoderus
trimaculatus Pic, 1902.
