Journal of the Royal Society of New Zealand abstractsNew records and a new species of Eupsenella (Hymenoptera: Bethylidae) in New ZealandGordon Gordh*, Anthony Harris**Eupsenella insulana n. sp. is described. Previously, Eupsenella was known only from Australia from unrecorded hosts. The new species extends the distribution of Eupsenella to New Zealand and establishes the tortricid moth larvae Eurythecta zelaea Meyrick, Harmologa amplexana (Zeller) and Planotortrix octo Dugdale as hosts.Keywords: Bethylidae, Eupsenella agilis Westwood, Eupsenella diemenensis Dodd, Eupsenella proxima Kieffer, Eupsenella insulana n. sp.; Tortricidae, Eurythecta zelaea Meyrick, Planotortrix octo Dugdale, Harmologa amplexana (Zeller); Eumenidae, Ancistrocerus gazella (Panzer); Raoulia australis Hook., Colobanthus brevisepalus Kirk.
