The concept of Yezonychus Ehara is revised. Yezonychus cornus (Pritchard & Baker) comb. nov. is restricted to mites from Elaeocarpus dentatus in New Zealand. Yezonychus falsicornus sp. nov. infesting Rubus spp., Dysoxylum spectabile, and Weinmannia racemosa, and Yezonychus brevipilus sp. nov. infesting Leionema nudum, are described from New Zealand. A key to known species of Yezonychus is given. Data on the biology of the species are included. Tribolonychus collyerae gen. et sp. nov. is described from Nothofagus sp. in New Zealand.
