A revision of the Phreatogammaridae (Crustacea, Amphipoda) of New Zealand. Part 2: Phreatogammarus fragilis and P. propinquus

Abstract  The previously unknown male of hypogean Phreatogammarus fragilis is described, and both sexes of epigean P. propinquus are fully described for the first time. P. fragilis has been found in South Island habitats only and P. propinquus is so far known only from Stewart Island. A key is given to the four known species in the genus.
