Contributions to a Chromosome Atlas of the New Zealand Flora - 15 Miscellaneous Families

Abstract Documented chromosome numbers are provided for New Zealand representatives of Hoheria (5 spp., 1 var.) and Plagianthus (2 spp) (Malvaceae), and Plantago (10 spp., including 2 which are undescribed) (Plantaginaceae). Material of Plagianthus betulinus A. Cunn. var. chalhamicus Ckn. was unavailable, and transplants of the Auckland Islands species, Plantago aucklandica Hook.f., did not survive.
