Modern Methods in the Investigation of Bryophyte Morphology

Abstract The problems arising from the study of colony morphology, external form, anatomy, cytology, ultrastructure and morphogenesis are posed. The contributions made by newer methods are described and analysed and their potential for future bryophyte studies indicated.
