Hymenophyllum cupressiforme Labill. (Hymenophyllaceae) in New Zealand

Abstract Authentic Hymenophyllum cupressiforme Labill. is recorded for the first time in New Zealand. Known localities are shown on a map. An illustrated description of the species stresr.es the differences between it and other members of Hymenophyllum subgenus Hymenophyllum in New Zealand, H. revolutum Col. and H. peltalum (Poir.) Desv. These two species are also illustrated and a key is provided to the subgenus in New Zealand.
