New Zealand Fungi 18. Xylohypha (Fr.) Mason

Abstract Five species of Xylohypha are illustrated and described: these are X. nigre-scens, X- curta, X. ferruginosa, X. novae-zelandiae n. sp., and X. palmicola n. sp. The last three species are recorded from New Zealand. The later synonyms assigned to each of the first three names are explained by reference to type or authenticated collections.
