New Zealand Journal of Botany abstractsLeaf vernation in NothofagusW. R. PHILIPSONDepartment of Botany, University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New ZealandMELVA N. PHILIPSONBotany Division, DSIR, Private Bag, Christchurch, New ZealandAbstract Four distinct vernation patterns occur in the genus Nothofagus, namely conduplicate, revolute, plicate, and plane.
