Wood anatomy of the dicotyledons indigenous to New Zealand 17. Tiliaceae

Abstract The wood anatomy of Entelea arborescens R.Br., the sole representative of the family Tiliaceae in New Zealand, is described. E. arborescens is the only indigenous species known to have pith-like parenchyma and tile cells, and is therefore easily recognised.
