New Zealand journal of botany 34: 111-121.The fourth paragraph on p. 116 should read: "Allowing for error (+/-2[[sigma]]) the age range for this date overlaps, by 69 years, with that for a date on charcoal from the Misery fan site, 5.7 km to the north (2730+/- 60 yr B.P., NZ-5370). In any case, the two dates could record the same fire event....."
