The status of Raukaua edgerleyi var. serratus and R. xparvus comb. nov.

Abstract  Raukaua edgerleyi var. serratus is considered to be a hybrid between R. edgerleyi and R. simplex, and the new combination R. xserratus is made. This nothospecies differs from the putative parents by leaf and floral characters. Panax simplex var. parvus ([[equivalence]] Nothopanax parvus), representing hybrids between R. anomalus and R. simplex, is also transferred to Raukaua as R. xparvus.
