Extrafloral nectaries in Elingamita johnsonii (Myrsinaceae)

Abstract  Extrafloral nectaries, which secrete hexose-dominant nectar, are described from male and female inflorescences of Elingamita johnsonii. These are considered to be the first record for the New Zealand dicotyledon flora and the third record for the Myrsinaceae.
