Abstract  The genus Phyllöachora in New Zealand is briefly reviewed. One new Phyllachora species is described from Myrsine, with three subspecies: P. hauturu subsp. hauturu on Myrsine australis, P. hauturu subsp. lanceshawii on M. divaricata, and P. hauturu subsp. rekohu on Myrsine chathamica. Another species is introduced for a fungus from Rostkovia magellanica: P. rostkoviae. Phyllachora manuka is proposed as a nom. nov. for Phomatospora leptospermi Hansf. (non Phyllachora leptospermi (Cooke) Höhn.). Phyllachora colensoi (Berk.) Sacc. is considered a synonym of Diplochorella melicyti (Syd. & P. Syd.) Syd. & P. Syd., with the new combination Diplochorella colensoi proposed.
