Abstract Ten new species and one new variety of Cortinarius
are described from the native forests of New Zealand: C.
eutactus, C. castoreus, C. ionomataius,
C. thaumastus, C. alboaggregatus, C. singularis,
C. lamproxanthus, C. paraxanthus, C. paraonui, C.
laquellus, and C. elaiochrous var. leontis.
