Abstract The distinctive new hyphomycete species Zygosporium
bioblitzi is described and illustrated from the holotype specimen
collected in New Zealand on dead, attached leaves of the introduced
grass Cortaderia selloana. It has also been found in
Thailand on dead leaves of Dracaena loureiri.
