Uromyces transversalis, rust fungus found infecting Iridaceae in New Zealand

Abstract  Uromyces transversalis G.Winter is newly recorded in New Zealand, being found on Anomatheca laxa, Gladiolus spp., Melasphaerula ramosa, and Tritonia spp. Puccinia iridis, which has been known in New Zealand since 1956, is recorded on a new iridaceous host plant, Gelasine elongata.
