A NEW SPECIES OF DEEP SEA AMPHIPOD (GAMMARIDEA) BELONGING TO THE GENUS RUNANGA

Abstract Runanga wairoa n.sp., a deep sea amphipod, is described from a female specimen collected in deeper waters to the east of New Zealand. Features that distinguish it from R. coxalis Barnard are noted.
