FRESHWATER HARPACTICOID COPEPODS OF NEW ZEALAND 2. ANTARCTOBIOTUS (CANTHOCAMPTIDAE)

Maureen H. Lewis

Department of Zoology, University of Auckland, Private Bag, Auckland, New Zealand

Abstract Six new species of the freshwater harpacticoid copepod genus Antarctobiotus are described, all collected from damp moss. Because these differ slightly from the three previously recorded species of the genus (in having two, not three, setae on the antennal exopodite), the generic description is modified to fit all species within its terms.
