TOPOGRAPHIC INFLUENCE ON THE WINTER MID-TASMAN CONVERGENCE (NOTE)

Abstract Evidence from aerial infrared temperature measurements of the temperature front associated with the winter Mid-Tasman Convergence Is presented. The position of this feature over the Norfolk Ridge suggests topographic influences on its formation.
