NEMATOPSIS N. SP. (SPOROZOA: GREGARINIA) IN PERNA CANAL1CULUS (NOTE)

Abstract Spores of a new species of Nematopsis have been found in the green-lipped mussel Perna canaliculus Gmelin. This is the first record of a sporozoan parasite of a New Zealand shellfish.
