The frill shark Chlamydoselachus anguineus in New Zealand seas

Abstract Six specimens were caught in 602-802 m of water off the South Island between August 1975 and October 1977: three males of 730-1340 mm total length, and three females of 1350- 1575 mm. These are the first records of the species for New Zealand.
