Abstract The Copepoda Nemesis lamna, Pandarus satyrus, Nesippus orientalis, Pandarus bicolor, Echthrogaleus coleoptratus, E. denticulatus, Dinemoura latifolia, and D. producta are recorded from a specimen of Carcharodon carcharias taken near Wellington, New Zealand. Evidence is given that at least one species has undergone habitat shift due to site competition.
