A new caprellid (Crustacea: Amphipoda) associated with a starfish from Antipodes Island

Abstract Caprella manneringi n. sp. is described from specimens found clinging to a starfish (Calvas-terias suteri) taken from a rock pool on Antipodes Island. It is the eighth caprellid species reported as having an association with Asteroidea.
