(family Bythocytheridae), Tanella dedeckkeri n.sp., Kangarina unispinosa n.sp., 'Loxoconcha' tubmani n.sp., and Microxestoleberis triangulata n.sp. are described from Recent sediments collected around Port Pegasus, Stewart Island. Description is based on aspects of carapace morphology considered taxonomically important, since none of the recovered specimens described retained soft parts.Keywords Ostracoda; paleontology; Stewart Island; new species; Recent.
