New Zealand coastal dinoflagellates with Gonyaulax affinities

Abstract Seven species of Gonyaulax, 2 species of Heteraulacus, and Protoceratium reticulatum are described from New Zealand coastal waters. Some notes are given on their morphology as seen in the scanning electron microscope.
