Abstract Hypsibius novaezeelandiae n. sp is
described.
Hypsibius novaezeelandiae is similar to
Hypsibius
pedrottii Bertolani et al., 1987, from which it differs by having longer
placoids, and a longer and less enlarged basal portion of the claws.
Hypibius marcelli Pilato, 1990 is recorded for the first time in the
Australian region.
